Sip and dine your weekend away at Parkersburg’s grandest outdoor festival!

So many restaurants, so little time— except for once a year, when that’s not a problem. At Taste of Parkersburg, the best wine, beer and meals are on the menu!

Our TOP Package is an inclusive bargain for 2 people: stay overnight, plus admission tickets, commemorative wine or beer glasses, and a stack of 20 TOP sampling tickets.

Sip full-bodied vino from all over the world: France, California’s Napa Valley, Argentina and, of course, West Virginia. There will be more than 40 varieties at Taste of Parkersburg.

Make it a full weekend of wine with the Blennerhassett Hotel’s Wine Dinner Package, a lavish deal that includes a 5-course wine and dinner pairing the evening before TOP.

At the dinner, you’ll sample sophisticated wines from Flora Springs, a family-owned winery in California that sustainably crafts fine organic drinks.

Popular bottles from Flora Springs include Trilogy, a velvety Bordeaux blend with dark chocolate, cassis and black licorice notes, and Soliloquy, an elegant Sauvignon blanc aged in French oak barrels. Its pale blonde depths tingle with pear, lemongrass, limestone and ginger. But their Napa wines have plenty of body, too.

Go really all-out with our Friday Wine Dinner & Saturday TOP Package, which combines the best of both events, and then some. In addition to all the TOP and dinner package perks, you’ll also get $40 worth of vendor tickets and a brunch for 2 at Spats!

Loosen your belt! Local vendors will tempt you with aromatic pizza, Mexican entrees, BBQ, grilled scallops and much more.

Of course, our own Spats Restaurant & Lounge, the Blennerhassett Hotel’s swanky dining destination, will tempt you with delectable burgers, creative sandwiches and a lengthy wine list.

All our tastiest neighbors will be there, too, like Cafe Blue, Valley Catering and North End Tavern & Brewery (“The NET.”) Savor craft brews from West Virginia’s oldest brewery, like the award-winning Roedy’s Red. Or, try the Berry Wheat 5-Way IPA, a spirited blend of American hops.

If you have room to spare, use your remaining tickets on desserts— the best part of any meal! Keep your eyes peeled for southern pies and artistic cakes.

Walk off some calories after dinner and head to the Parkersburg Art Center, where local artists will show off their wares and skills. Study how potters handle clay or ponder over elegant, handmade jewelry.
