Springtime events to sip and savorMarch 30, 2017 7:27 pm
Nature isn’t the only thing that’s blooming and bright— we’re celebrating too! Join us for gourmet buffets, dinners, and culinary classes.
Treat your family to a traditional feast without stress, mess, or logistics. All you have to do is take a seat and enjoy the classy ambiance. What’s more, our chefs will have a glorious spread for your enjoyment: seafood bar, cold salads, prime rib carving station, and hot dishes. We’ll also have festive desserts.
Easter is April 16, but please make reservations quickly; seats fill up really fast!
We’ll also be here for that special lady on Mother’s Day, May 14. This is a really popular event, too, so you’ll want to get tickets sooner rather than later.
April Wine Dinner
As dusk settles over Parkersburg on April 21, Executive Chef Rick Argoso will prepare a 4-course meal inspired by JCP Maltus Wines. It’s the delightful, delectable occasion of the season.
Renowned for its exquisite French and Napa Valley vintages, JCP Maltus is an international smash. The family-owned enterprise cultivates single-vineyard and reserve wine from 2 estates— one in the Old World, one in the New.
What we’ve done is matched their artistry with 4 lavish courses. Look forward to chef exclusives like seared petit filet with spiced carrots and cherry demi-glace; citrus-poached jumbo shrimp and grits; and a sophisticated dessert. Each course comes with a glass (sometimes 2) of wine from St. Émilion or Napa: a match made in almost heaven!
Don’t want the magic to end at midnight? Book our Overnight Package. This deal includes 2 Wine Dinner tickets and accommodation in a luxurious room. It’s just another way you can enjoy Chef Argoso’s meals! We even have a Starbucks coffee bar to get you through the morning ahead.
Learn tricks of the trade— or toque— with our talented chefs! It doesn’t matter if you only know how to press buttons on a microwave. Our demonstrations and lessons are for everybody, regardless of experience.
Learn sophisticated skills like cocktail creation, bread making, and wine fundamentals. Chef Argoso’s popular class, “Kids in the Kitchen” shows folks 8 and up how to make breakfast and brunch, too. (This particular workshop is sold out; however, please check our “Events” page for future opportunities.)
You can also book private group classes or combine cooking with an overnight package. Call us for more information! Whether you’re into fondue, bartending, or pasta making, we’ll show you how to get started.
Thanks, and we hope to meet you at the dinner table!
