(Parkersburg, WV) The Blennerhassett Hotel and Spa will serve hundreds of hungry diners this Thanksgiving Day. Starting at 11 AM on Thursday, Nov. 24th, local residents and travelers alike will convene at the historic Blennerhassett Hotel in downtown Parkersburg, WV to feast on a full spread of holiday offerings alongside the sounds of live piano.

Chefs from The Blennerhassett Restaurant and Lounge will treat diners to a host of offerings served catered-buffet style in the Grand Charleston Ballroom, located on the first floor of The Blennerhassett Hotel and Spa. Offerings will include hors d’ouvres, soups, salads, entrées, accompaniments, and delicious desserts.

Dish offerings include many Thanksgiving favorites with an elevated spin from the chefs, such as citrus-brined turkey, country-glazed ham, rosemary red-skinned whipped potatoes, and deviled eggs with kalamata olives and caviar.

The hotel will be offering a few different options this year, including prime rib, known for being succulent, and Meditteranean cod.

“This is perhaps one of our largest events of the year,” said Travis Stephens, Digital Marketing Director at The Blennerhassett Hotel and Spa. “We will serve hundreds of guests throughout the day. Many of these guests have attended one or more Thanksgiving at The Blennerhassett events before.”

Stephens credits the menu, offering one reason for repeat visitors. “Every Thanksgiving, we ask ourselves, ‘How can we make this meal unforgettable?'” said Stephens. “This year, Chefs Ron Shiflett and Yancy Roush, alongside the entire culinary team, have put together a buffet menu like I’ve never seen. People are going to fall in love with this assortment of dishes.”

Music will fill the air as pianist Jason Wyers will play through Thanksgiving in the Charleston Ballroom. “Music creates the atmosphere in life’s events. It sets the tone. Music is the universal language and speaks differently to each of us,” said Wyers. “Much like our chefs’ culinary offerings, guests can anticipate a variety of musical selections – classical, traditional, contemporary, seasonal, even TikTok-inspired tunes, from the piano.”

The cost for The Blennerhassett Thanksgiving Buffet is 59.95 for adults and 19.95 for children 12 years of age and younger, with additional tax and gratuity. Seating begins at 11 AM and ends at 5 PM. Attendees must reserve to attend. Reservations can be made at theblennerhassett.com.
